AC Inspections are required. What happens during the inspection?
There are three different types of HVAC inspections which are stack inspection, concealed duct inspection, and the last inspection.
Stack inspections examine the entire HVAC works above basement level. This inspection should be completed before any drywall is installed However, it must be done after the return and supply systems are in place.
External inspections are performed by the stack inspector. External inspections include checking that roof flashings conform to code, air intake and exhaust Hoods are installed correctly, and flue gas venting areas are done correctly.
You can also do this within your house. The inspectors inspect the home for seals and insulated air distribution conduitwork is in order, the system size meets codes and that heating hydronic system has been properly installed.
